I've been exchanging quite a few messages lately about equipment, so here's what I use:

Bodies: Mostly stick with my Canon 5D
Lenses: All Canon L-glass (except my super-wide). Personal favorite is my 85mm 1.2.
Digital workflow: Editing in Gimp and/or Photoshop. All my machines run Ubuntu Linux. I'm in the middle of moving all my catalogs of "digital negatives" over to my new RAID5 server and testing different alternatives to Iview for cataloging.

I have provided many images for commercial publication. If interested, please contact me. Most of the time, all I ask for is photo credit in the publication.
